Leonora Nattrass pursued her enthusiasm for late-eighteenth and early-nineteenth century literature and politics to PhD level, and lectured in English for nearly ten years. She now lives in a seventeenth-century Cornish farmhouse with seventeenth-century draughts, writing historical fiction.
