Right! Let us get this straight. This is not a novel. It is a little treasure of a book that will delight all Reacher’s Creatures and fans of Lee Child’s eponymous hero. This is nothing new. We have had Philip Marlowe’s Guide to Life and The Wit and Wisdom of Gene Hunt (from Life on Mars).

However, that aside, Reacher’s Rules is in my opinion brilliant. It is not the type of book that one should read at one go, but a book that one should dip in out of at will. With Life Lessons on being prepared, the rules on hitchhiking, noticing stuff, rules on coffee, fighting, choosing your weapons, personal grooming, living off the greed and women to name a few, it is a book (according to Reacher) to help you run your life. My favourite? Life’s a bitch then you die.

It also includes things that Reacher would not say.

This is not a book to be taken seriously but it is lots of fun. Looking for a present for some one that is mad about Reacher? Then you could not go wrong with Reacher’s Rules. This is the indispensible book for fans of the series.
